Nintendo has officially confirmed that Drag x Drive will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 14, as revealed in a brief trailer shared via the Nintendo Today app.
Drag x Drive is a wheelchair basketball game that uses both Joy-Con 2 controllers, with players pushing them forward and backward to simulate wheelchair movement. To shoot the ball, players lift one of the Joy-Cons in a motion that mimics a real-life throw toward the basket.
Initially showcased during the Switch 2 Direct, the game appeared to be a 3v3 online multiplayer experience. However, it’s not yet clear whether additional modes—such as solo play or different team sizes—will be available.
