Nintendo are set to have their next Nintendo Direct right around the launch of the Switch 2 on June 5th.
That’s according to Brazilian Game Journalist Pedro Lippe who has previously been accurate with Nintendo predictions.
Nintendo historically always has a Nintendo Direct in June, and has done so every year since 2012 – apart from 2016. This new Nintendo Direct would be a great opportunity to tell us about release dates for Pokemon Z-A, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and Kirby Air Riders.
Nintendo could drop new information laying out the roadmap for the next 12 months. Specifically the next 3D Mario game, or a tease at the next Zelda.
Let me know what you think, are we going to see a Nintendo Direct around the launch of the Switch 2 and when do you think we’re going to see it? My money is on 11th or 12th June 2025, but we’ll have to wait and see.
